Valentine Cakes
I helped Hannah make some cakes for a bake sale. This was my first attempt at piping. I learned a lot and I hope to have more practice and to get better in the near future!

Annual Gobbler Ralk
Around August Noelle and I decided to enter the turkey trot 5k here in Fort Worth on Thanksgiving day. We were really excited about it and were encouraging each other to run every day. One day I called Noelle and asked her if she had been running. She replied with "errr... I went ralking!" I did not understand her at first and thought that she had said rocking. Sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee was not what I was asking! Turns out, she went "running" with a friend who was power walking and they were going the same speed!!! Hence, run-walk = ralk!
As we got closer to Thanksgiving we realized how expensive the event was going to be because everyone else wanted to join in as well. Since we did not have enough money to participate, I decided that we would start our own annual "ralk." I dubbed it "The First Annual Gobbler Ralk" and I made t-shirts for everyone as well. The Suttons, Griggs, Carrigans and Pullens all woke up on Thanksgiving morning and went for a ralk. Too bad it was FREEZING!!!!!
